Baxa eBUG Terms and Conditions
Introduction
eBug (electronic Baxa Users Group) is intended as an exchange forum for pharmacy professionals for general information sharing and discussions regarding best practice and procedures using Baxa equipment. This Service is provided by Baxa Corporation free of charge to equipment customers under the following Policy.
The Terms and Conditions are designed to protect Baxa customers and the Internet community from irresponsible, abusive or illegal activities. The following section outlines general violations that will not be tolerated during use of this Service. Members are expected to adhere to proper and common sense behavior while using this Service—any activities deemed a violation will immediately result in termination of membership.
General Violations
The following constitute violations of eBug membership:
- Illegal use. Using the Service to transmit any material (by email, uploading, posting, or otherwise) that, intentionally or unintentionally, violates any applicable local, state, national or international law, or any rules or regulations promulgated thereunder.
- Harm to minors. Using the Service to harm, or attempt to harm, minors in any way.
- Threats. Using the Service to transmit any material (by email, uploading, posting, or otherwise) that harasses another.
- Fraudulent activity. Using the Service to make fraudulent offers to sell or buy products, items, or services or any type.
- Forgery or impersonation. Adding, removing or modifying identifying network header information in an effort to deceive or mislead is prohibited. Attempting to impersonate any person by using forged headers or other identifying information is prohibited.
- Unsolicited commercial email. Using Baxa email or Web site to distribute unsolicited commercial email is prohibited. Sending large volumes of unsolicited email is prohibited.
- Unauthorized access. Attempting to circumvent user authentication or security of any host, network, or account is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, accessing data not intended for the customer, logging into a server or account the customer is not expressly authorized to access, or probing the security of Baxa servers and networks.
- Collection of personal data. Using the Service to collect, or attempt to collect, personal information about third parties without their knowledge or consent.
Enforcement
Baxa Corporation reserves the right, but does not assume the obligation, to strictly enforce this Policy by, without limitation, issuing warnings, suspending, or terminating Service, refusing to transmit, removing, screening, or editing content prior to delivery or actively investigating violations and prosecuting them in any court or appropriate venue.
